Levels of satisfaction of the medical laboratory department students on the school and instructional staff, and the factors affecting pleased level

INTRODUCTION: In this study, it was aimed to evaluate the levels of satisfaction of the students in the medical laboratory department from the program, the school situation, and instructional staff and to determine the factors affecting pleasing levels.
METHODS: In this descriptive study, the universe consisted of all students who agreed to participate in the study (S=152). Two questionnaires were used to collect data: “Program and School Satisfaction”, “Satisfaction from Instructors”.
RESULTS: The results of the survey presented a moderate level of satisfaction and 18.4% of the students were satisfied with the program and school, and 14.5% were satisfied with the instructional staff. Only girls' satisfaction with program and education was found to be significantly higher (p<0.05). It was found that the satisfaction of those who did not have social security, who wanted to do so and who did not want to have unemployment problems in the future, was significantly higher than the program, school and instructional staff (p<0.01). It was determined that the satisfaction of those who thought to stay in the profession from the instructors was significantly higher (p<0.01).
DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION: The medium level satisfaction indicator of the students; the relevant parameters should be investigated. Among the students with a low level of satisfaction, they can increase their satisfaction by eliminating their concerns by examining their dissatisfaction with the program, school, and instructors more carefully.

Tıbbi laboratuvar bölümü öğrencilerinde okuldan ve öğretim elemanlarından memnuniyet düzeyleri ve etkileyen faktörler

GİRİŞ ve AMAÇ: Bu çalışmada tıbbi laboratuvar öğrencilerinin programdan, okuldan ve öğretim elemanlarından memnuniyet düzeylerinin değerlendirilmesi ve etkileyen faktörlerin belirlenmesi amaçlandı.
YÖNTEM ve GEREÇLER: Tanımlayıcı olan bu araştırmada evreni, araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden öğrencilerin tamamı oluşturdu (S=152). Verilerin toplanmasında “Program ve Okuldan Memnuniyet”, “Öğretim Elemanlarından Memnuniyet” olmak üzere iki anket formu kullanıldı.
BULGULAR: Anket sonuçları orta düzeyde bir memnuniyet göstergesi sundu ve öğrencilerin %18.4’ünün program ve okuldan, %14.5’inin öğretim elemanlarından memnun olduğu saptandı. Sadece kızların program ve eğitimden önemli düzeyde daha çok memnun olduğu belirlendi (p<0.05). Sosyal güvencesi olmayanların, bölümünü isteyerek ve gelecekte işsizlik sorunu yaşamamak için tercih edenlerin programdan, okuldan ve öğretim elemanlarından memnuniyetlerinin önemli düzeyde daha yüksek olduğu saptandı (p<0.01). Mesleğinde kalmayı düşünenlerin öğretim elemanlarından memnuniyetlerinin önemli düzeyde daha yüksek olduğu belirlendi (p<0.01).
TARTIŞMA ve SONUÇ: Öğrencilerin orta düzey memnuniyet göstergesi; ilgili parametreler üzerinde çalışılması gerektiğini göstermektedir. Düşük düzey memnuniyet gözlenen öğrencilerde programdan, okuldan ve öğretim elemanlarından memnun olmama durumlarının daha dikkatli incelenerek endişelerinin giderilmesi memnuniyetlerini artırabilir.
